काठमाडौं सिंहदरबार स्थित मन्त्रालयमा आज नेपालका लागि भारतीय राजदुत नविन श्रीवास्तवसंग भेटवार्ता गर्दै कृषि मन्त्री भुसालले यस्तो चासो व्यक्त गरेका हुन् । जवाफमा भारतीय राजदुत श्रीवास्तवले चामल विदेश निर्यातमा रोक लगाएको निर्णय भारतले गरे पनि सो निर्णय नेपालको हकमा लागु नहुने जानकारी गराएका छन् ।
‘विदेशमा चामल निर्यात गर्ने निर्णय नेपालको हकमा लागु हुदैन् । यस अघि पनि भारतले गहुँ निर्यातमा रोक लगाएको भए पनि नेपाललाई असर नगरेको र गत बर्ष पनि ३ लाख ५० हजार मेट्रिकटन गहुँ उपलब्ध गराएको थियो । अहिले पनि भारतले नेपाललाई आवश्यक चामल उपलब्ध गराउँन तयार रहेको छ’ भारतीय राजदुत श्रीवास्तवले कृषि मन्त्री भुसालसंगको भेटवार्तामा भने ।
भारतले विदेशमा चामल निर्यातमा रोक लगाउँने निर्णय सार्वजनिक भएपछि नेपालमा चामलको भाउ बढेको बताउँदै मन्त्री भुसालले यसलाई सहज बनाउँन पहल गरिदिन राजदुत श्रीवास्तवसंग छलफल गरेका छन् ।
