Indian television networks have stopped broadcasting their channels in Nepal after not receiving around Rs 100 Crores. Broadcasting has been stopped due to financial issues between the channel broadcasters and distributors.
Dozens of Hindi and English television channels, including Sony, Zee, Star, and Colors networks, have been blocked in Nepal. Customers have been notified about the interruption.
Previously, internet services were also suspended temporarily due to disputes over payments.
